+ PocketList

The Problem: As an early stage startup, PocketList was hoping to increase app downloads and monthly active users, while improving ad spend efficiency.

The Strategy: First, we tested different creative, ad copy and value propositions across multiple platforms to gauge what resonated most with audiences. To enable efficient conversions, we also identified a few points in the sales funnel to optimize and made some content adjustments to landing pages to ensure messaging was clear and consistent. Once we understood a reasonable cost per acquisition, we implemented a cost cap strategy and began increasing budget to unlock steady and consistent growth.

The Result: In 10 months, we increased listing volume 100X, decreased monthly CPA by 64% and scaled ad spend 3X.

+ 1966 Artisanal Rum Punch

The Problem: 1966 was looking to fundraise on Kickstarter to generate funding for production expansion and marketing efforts.

The Strategy: First, we built a compelling narrative about the brand. This included creating a brand tone of voice and honing in on what makes 1966 special. We then created a comprehensive communication plan that included email marketing and social media outreach ahead of the Kickstarter launch.

The Result: In just 2 days, the Kickstarter surpassed 117% of the funding goal. The project was named a "Project We Love" by Kickstarter. At the end of the campaign, 1966 had raised over $30,000 from 174 backers.

 

+ RentCity

The Problem: RentCity is a real estate startup looking to increase tenant reviews and overall site traffic.

The Strategy: First, analyzed the RentCity website and suggested opportunities for optimization to improve the user experience and ultimately lead to more reviews. We then made several suggestions to the technical aspects of the website to improve Search Engine Optimization and ensure compliance with Google Core Web Vitals. Then, we created paid advertising campaigns on Google Ads and Facebook to drive traffic as well as persuade users to leave apartment reviews.

The Result: After implementing our strategies and paid ad campaigns, traffic increased +20.2% in the immediate 5 months when compared to the previous 5 months.

+ Leading Soda Brand

The Problem: A leading carbonated beverage brand was looking to clarify the role and positioning of their Cherry line extension.

The Strategy: The following steps were undertaken to clearly articulate the brand and further drive growth:

• Identified knowledge gaps and commissioned a new study to gather key data on consumers.

• Zeroed in on key insights about Cherry variant and how it fit into the trademark.

• Redefined Cherry variant positioning and briefed content creation agency to create new TV, digital and social campaign around a new Cherry character

The Result: The new campaign exceeded ROI goal by 20% and retail sales increased by over 15%

+ Rebel Noir Clothing

The Problem: Rebel Noir Clothing is an apparel company that strives to promote a message of social equality. The team was looking to clearly articulate its brand in order to clearly make decisions about partnership opportunities and consumer messaging.

The Strategy: First, we questioned the team about the brand to really distill down to the essence of Rebel Noir. We then utilized branding tools to succintly describe the attributes of the Rebel Noir brand. Then we researched similar brands and provided concrete examples of how the brand can activate its positioning with consumers.

The Result: The team adopted the branding suggestions and has implemented them as criteria for making strategic brand decisions.

 

+ Meek's Vegan Pizza

The Problem: Meek's Vegan Pizza was a brand new restaurant concept that was planning to launch in the Houston area. They wanted to find a logo and brand positioning that would resonate in the local community and set the restaurant up for an impactful opening.

The Strategy: Palm & Broadway analyzed the local demographics to determine the ideal consumer target. We then created a dyanmic logo that highlighted the vegan aspect of Meek's menu in a fun and engaging way. We then brainstormed several ways that Meek's Vegan Pizza could integrate into the community and gain immediate support.

The Result: Meek's Vegan Pizza had a very successful launch and has seen tremendous business success. They were highlighted by Vio Life Foods and received a $20,000 grant to expand their operations.
